Ovens are not designed to fire clay and can reach temperatures that are too high or low for firing clay safely. If you’re determined to fire clay in your oven, make sure to do your research and take all the necessary precautions. Just like different types of clay have their own ideal temperature at which they need to be fired, different glazes melt at different temperatures too.
